Your First Visit
When you first arrive at our Wilmington dental office, you’ll be warmly greeted by our dental assistant who will take you back to one of our comfortable operatories. There, our team will take necessary X-rays as well as a digital oral scan. You’ll also be able to choose from our menu of comfort amenities, like a paraffin wax hand treatment or heated blanket.
You’ll then meet your dental hygienist who will conduct a thorough professional cleaning and polish and floss your teeth. Finally, you’ll have plenty of one-on-one time with Dr. Lundgren, helping you navigate any existing concerns you have as well as any symptoms of dental health problems she may spot during your examination. If necessary, Dr. Lundgren will outline a treatment plan with you to get your oral health on the right track or help you reach your smile goals. Finally, our staff will schedule any follow-up appointments with you and send you on your way!
Dental Patient Forms
We ask that all of our new dental patients please fill out our forms and submit them to our team before their first appointment. This will allow us to input your dental and medical histories as well as dental insurance information, allowing us to conduct any necessary benefits checks during your appointment. Dental Insurance
Our office is dental insurance-friendly, so please call our office to see which insurances we accept. To help you get the most out of your investment in insurance, we’re happy to file claims on your behalf and conduct complimentary benefits checks before you agree to move forward with any treatments. That way, you know what you can expect to pay out-of-pocket for your procedure as well as how much you will be reimbursed by your dental insurance.
In-House Dental Membership Plan
For those who don’t have dental insurance or are looking for a more beneficial and easier-to-use alternative, we also offer an in-house dental membership plan. For a flat annual or monthly fee, all of your preventive care for the year will be 100 percent covered, including two yearly exams, cleanings and necessary X-rays, and you’ll also receive a discount on other treatments you may need. CareCredit Financing
For our patients receiving treatments that aren’t typically covered by dental insurance benefits, like cosmetic dentistry, we also offer additional financing through CareCredit. Upon qualifying, you’ll be able to choose from a six, 12, 18, 24, or 36-month payment plan at little to no interest, allowing you to split the overall cost of your treatment into smaller, more manageable payments.
